Panomundo: The Evolution of The Steelpan Screening @ The Yaa Centre, Friday October 16th 2015

A fascinating film by independent film makers Keith Musaman Morton and Charysse Tia Harper, this is the first part of a 2 part film documenting the history of Steel Pan and it’s roots in Trinidad. There will be a Q&A session with the director Keith Musaman Morton after the screening. Carnival Village Trust will also be showing footage from this years UK Panorama 2015, showing Ebony, Real Steel and Mangroves’ winning performances.

Film starts at 19:00.
The screening is FREE, and suitable for all the family.
